Beat Procrastination

So I finally did this. It's been 2 years of planning and trying different blog hosts and just being lazy. But someone just told me as I discussed this for the umpteenth time that is was uncertain that I would have and successfully maintain a blog. Well, a competitive chord inside me was struck and I've set out to prove them wrong. Hopefully, by God's grace I can do it.

I've always been someone who wanted to achieve something. To make an impact on the world and I've learnt that a good education, not just an academic one but one of the nuances of life is vital to this. So this blog is basically to share tips, opportunities and advice for teenagers like me who are actively seeking to be the best.

On the blog, you'll find advice and guidelines on how to study abroad and how to survive it and be mentally, financially, spiritually and physically whole while away from the familiar. You'll also find advice on life issues and articles I've written in response to the events happening around. You'll also find my writing and my reviews on African literature.

The blog will also be a new platform for teens to exchange advice and experiences of all the issues we all face daily: relationships, spirituality and school.

I am by no means a life expert but I hope to be a positive influence.

Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you.  b. Discuss some issue of personal, local, national, or international concern and its importance to you.  c. Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.  d. Describe a character in fiction, a historical figure, or a creative work (as in art, music, science, etc.) that has had an influence on you, and explain that influence.  e. A range of academic interests, personal perspectives, and life experiences adds much to the educational mix. Given your personal background, describe an experience that illustrates wha

The American Dream

A lot of us have grown up with a dream of studying abroad. A lot of people believe it is an essential key to success. Have a Plan B: I know, this is not a very encouraging way to start giving out tips, but it is essential. By all means have faith but also be smart and understand that one, this might not currently be your destiny and life can chart a different course for you so you have to be able to have a back-up institution to attend in your
